Real Madrid has shown what is expected to be a three -week injury for its first team, Eduardo Camavingo, thanks to an official launched Friday morning in Spain.
“After the tests were carried out in our player Eduardo Camavinga through the medical services of Real Madrid, he has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in the femoris biceps of his left leg,” said the correspondence on the matter.
It was followed by the usual “pending evolution” message, meaning the club didn’t give an expected recovery timeframe.
According to various Spanish outlets such as OK Diario, however, the Frenchman is expected to be out for up to three weeks.
Camavinda did not receive the approval for the victory of the 5-2 to 5-2 game over Celta Vigo in the Copa del Rey, where her main coach Carlo Ancelotti and her teammate Aurelien Tchouameni were first in whistles and mocked through the Bernabéu multitude.
He was introduced for starter Dani Ceballos on 70 minutes, however, and at fault for one of Celta’s comeback goals which forced extra time.
The most partial game time meant that Camavanta accumulated about 50 minutes in the box in total, while Endrick and Fede Valverde killed the gallices with their goals.
But while Camavinga will have been pleased that his blushes were spared and his team advanced to the quarterfinals, he won’t play any part in the knockout showdown where Madrid is set to learn its opponent at the turn of next week.
