Real Madrid star Eden Hazard is Pep Guardiola’s dream target at Manchester City, according to reports. The Belgian foreigner has struggled to have an effect on the Bernabéu since arriving from Chelsea in 2019. But that hasn’t stopped him from being connected to a sensational move to the Premier League.
Real Madrid broke the bank to single out Chelsea’s Hazard in 2019, believing the Belgian foreigner would be the best replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who had left for Juventus 12 months earlier.
However, the 29-year-old has so far not served his time at the Bernabéu.
Hazard was limited to just 16 La Liga appearances last season, managing just 4 goals.
And an injury has continued to hamper him this quarter, as the former Chelsea star has played La Liga 4 times so far.
Despite this, Spain’s OKDiario claims that the Belgian is Guardiola’s main target at Manchester City.
The Spaniard is looking for tactics for his team at the end of the season, with City not performing at the same point as two years ago.

And Guardiola is said to think that Hazard’s signing outweighs the negatives.
The former Barcelona manager believes the 29-year-old would shine alongside compatriot Kevin De Bruyne at the club level, with the brilliant pair for the Red Devils on stage.
And Guardiola “will be the first to be interested in Hazard” be windy. Real would like to cut its losses.
The report assures that, at the moment, the Real is not even promoting the forward.
But with the La Liga giants staring at Erling Haaland, Eduardo Camavinga and Kylian Mbappé, their departure may be the best way to raise funds.
Guardiola has communicated to the Manchester City hierarchy his preference for pointing out Hazard and what will happen in the end is something that only time will tell.
The City manager defended the former Chelsea star in the previous year, saying he was “above” the point of a more sensible player.
