Real Madrid is ready to complete Martin Odegaard’s two-year transfer from the Society before Zidane makes a change of direction

The Norwegian midfielder has had a great season with the Donostiarra outfit, finishing sixth in LaLiga.

He even scored in a 4-3 win over his bosses, and that convinced Zinedine Zidane to take him back to the Bernabeu.

According to the Spanish newspaper AS, the player in a position to start a season at the moment with the Company.

But at the last minute, Zidane sought to have Odegaard “by his side” next season and was confident he would have a chance to fight for a first-team spot.

Odegaard joined Real Madrid from Stromsgodset in 2015, rejecting the interest of a number of leading European clubs, Liverpool, Manchester United and City and Bayern Munich.

He is the youngest debutant in the club’s history at 16 years and 157 days when he replaced Cristiano Ronaldo in a 7–3 home win over Getafe in May 2015.

Last season, Odegaard Society made the impression 36 times in all competitions, scoring seven goals along the way.
