Real Madrid leader says there will be no new additions with Dani Ceballos and Martin Odegaard about to return

Real Madrid held an assembly of teams following the departure of the Champions League in which players were informed that no new signings would be made this summer, according to Spain.

Despite their victory in La Liga last month, the Real season nevertheless ended disappointingly, as they were expelled from Europe in the last 16 stages by Manchester City.

According to The Spanish newspaper Marca, the players were later arrested and coach José Angel Sánchez approached the team and gave them a review of their summer plans.

He explained that the club was unable to download new signings due to the coronavirus crisis, also confirming Alphonse Areola’s departure from the Royal without being able to convert his transfer into a permanent transfer.

Instead, all arrivals will come in the form of players returning from a loan, with 3 players in componenticular most likely to be part of next season’s setup.

Martin Odegaard spent last season on loan at the impressively impressive Real Sociedad, and was expected to remain there until 2021.

But the Real has rescised his transfer early and will return to the Bernabéu, as the Basque aspect cut him off the club’s website, and is now Luka Modric’s heir.

Dani Ceballos will also become part of the squad again, with the Spaniard already working at Zidane and completing the season strong at Arsenal.

It is the idea that the demonstrations of the 24-year-old after the resumption have convinced the Madrid hierarchy that he can become a normal in the first team and that he will have the possibility to impress the pre-season.

The third player to expect to see more at Real is goalkeeper Andriy Lunin, who was on loan at Oviedo last season, with the Ukrainian replacing Areola.

At the end of the team meeting, Sanchez told the team that they are expected to show up for preseason education on August 30 and reminded them to behave in a responsible manner during the holidays.
