Atletico Madrid, first of all, crosses the city to occupy Real Madrid’s fourth position in La Liga on Saturday for the Madrid derby. El Atlético ranks first and is the only undefeated team in the league with an 8-2-0 record, while Real Madrid is 6-2-3 and six editions their local rival. Both groups have been fairly consistent in the face of goal, but where they differ is in defence. Real has conceded 12 goals in 11 games, while in 10 games Atleti has conceded only two.
Here’s how to see it and what to know:
Real Madrid: A few hectic weeks in the Champions League can force Zinedine Zidane to rotate some of his players. They have accumulated many minutes in some vital matches and the Real has some depth, lack of consistent attack features from the bench. It’s worrying. They’re going to have to face a lot of tension from Diego Simeone’s team, and they’re going to have to stay calm in the middle and get the ball out. It’s a tough match, but they hope to win.

Atleti: Although he did not dominate the Champions League, he is in very good form in La Liga with five consecutive victories, this defense has returned to the same dominance as always and the way he scored was also impressive, getting well-synchronized plays to win close matches. But the club has scored only 4 goals in its last three league games, which is a bit alarming given its mediocre defenses. Against the Real, they’ll look to hold on to the ball, press and take a look to play low balls on the surface to guys like Joao Felix, if the area is there for a fast player to get the ball, face the purpose and run over it, he has the technical ability to locate wonderful opportunities and win it convincingly.
