Barely two weeks ago, Dani Olmo’s long run in Barcelona to be seriously in serious doubt.
After joining Catalans RB Leipzig in the summer, the midfielder had to receive a LaLiga transience record due to Barca’s well-documented monetary difficulties.
The registration expired at the end of December and it appeared Olmo’s time at the club could be coming to an abrupt end.
After all, a clause of his contract meant that he could leave as a loose agent if he was recorded.
However, Olmo’s intentions were still going to remain in the club that represented for the first time when he was young and his, while Barça won a remaining through the courts.
The 26-year-old came on as a second-half substitute tonight and now has his first silverware with the club in the bag.
Something tells me that the re-regulation still ended . . .

It’s over! Barcelona are the Spanish Super Cup champions!
Hansi Flick has never lost to a competitive finish as a manager and his career continued on flavor tonight as he also picked up his first Argenne as Barca boss.
His side were forced to deal with adversity early when Kylian Mbappe gave Los Blancos the lead within the first five minutes.
From there, the Catalans took the festival and had received a dominant advance in part time.
Raphinha’s goal after the restart appeared to serve as yet more evidence that the clash was in danger of becoming a rout.
However, Wojciech Szczesny’s sending off swung the pendulum back in Real’s favour but they are ultimately left to rue not taking advantage after Rodrygo inspired faint hopes of a comeback.
We argue before the game that the classic delivers when it comes to drama, but I think this game has even exceeded the maximum optimized predictions.
