“We never expected or anticipated that 2020 would require the rescue of so many wolves, however, as is occasionally the case with the animals we saved, there is no other suitable option and they are in danger of being slaughtered, so we do what we can prevent animals from having to pay for human error,” said Pat CraigArray, executive director of Wild Animal Sanctuary.
Two of the wolves belonged to a personal owner in the Miami, Florida area, but after the leaks, adding the attack to the community cubs, the couple faced a dubious long term unless they were discovered a suitable home.
