Red Bull doesn’t seem to breathe a sigh of relief in the current 2024 F1 season. They started the year with allegations against their team principal, Christian Horner. This, in turn, led the motivating mastermind of the design, Adrian Newey, to think about whether to stay on the team. However, Red Bull was shocked and has now given its opinion on the speculations.
Several rumours have been circulating in the paddock over the past few months relating to key members of Red Bull about to leave the team. This has created divisions among leaders and an atmosphere of instability. Also, when the situation is under control, a few other controversies erupted, leaving the team and its key figures in a tricky position.
This would have taken its toll on Adrian Newey, leading him to inform Red Bull of his intention to leave the team. Despite this, the Austrian team is confident that the Briton will remain with the team for the foreseeable future.
The Austrian giant has broken its silence on such rumours and revealed that the British designer has a contract with the team until the end of 2025. In addition, this could mean that Newey would have to negotiate a permit to leave the team, which would put him in danger. The 65-year-old is known for his accolades and creations in the world of F1. However, in order to function well, it needs a solid environment and leadership, something that Red Bull has been lacking lately.

The Englishman claimed that he signed a long-term contract because he was looking for a non-violent racing environment, which Milton Keynes had provided for him. In addition, he was satisfied with the state of the team and stated that there is no explanation for his departure.
However, this soon changed, as he was reportedly dissatisfied with the strength struggle within the Red Bull team. This could eventually lead you to quit the game or look for a new home elsewhere. As it stands, heavyweights such as Mercedes, Aston Martin and All Ferraris are racing to steal Newey from Red Bull for the next few years of F1.
