In a few months’ time, a one-day festival will be held in St. Paul that will bring together sports lovers.
On Tuesday, event officials announced that Red Bull Heavy Metal would return to the state on Saturday, February 10, 2024.
The event includes “a variety of unique obstacles and lines” on a traditional course built on the Capitol grounds.
Among those expected to compete are Minnesota local Benny Milam, who won the 2022 Red Bull Heavy Metal event, as well as Pat Fava, winner of the 2023 men’s event. Minnesota locals Ryan Paul and Jaylen Hanson, finalists in the 2023 men’s and women’s event. They are also expected to compete.
A qualifier will be held at Buck Hill on Feb. 9.
The occasion is free and open to the public.
