Peter Grant, certain Celtic enthusiasts will see the REAL Reo Hatate at any time after a long period of absence.
Brendan Rodgers proved last week that the star midfielder is on the pitch as he continues to work to be fully fit. It’s been an injury-riddled crusade for fan favorites with just thirteen appearances under their belt this season. The hope is that the team will rejoin after the foreign break and work out with those who are not on duty this era when the season comes to an end.
A big showdown with the Rangers looms on the horizon before the league splits and when the games are released when the best and last six find out their fate. Both derbies will have a major impact on the fate of the Scottish Premiership this season. His return will be a huge boost to Rodgers and the Parkhead faithful.
Ibrox insider and legend Barry Ferguson also believes that Celtic probably won’t see the best of Hatate until NEXT season and that his return will be a bit ‘slow’.
Grant told Go Radio: “It gives you the opportunity to get other people back in shape [international hiatus]. I think that’s important. People talk about Hatate, but I think it’s been gone too long to come and make an impact.
“Barry will tell you. It doesn’t matter how smart you are, how well you train, or how many practice games you organize. You know you can look at yourself without putting that intensity into it. It’s very, very complicated to be intense, it doesn’t matter if it’s a scrimmage, because you can pass away or do anything, the intensity is absolutely different.
“For the era that Celtic go into, I’m not sure. Possibly he would be available, but will it be the Reo Hatate? I think it’s very unlikely that I’ll be out of that era to come back and be that player. “”I think he was back to the form he was in after his last injury. The manager left him on the bench [at the start of the season] and I think the game against Kilmarnock was his most productive game and then he gets injured. Sod’s Law It was he who returned to his most productive level.
“I think it’s very complicated when you’re out for so long. For guys who’ve been out for about a week, it’s a little bit easier. “
Co-author Ferguson added: “I don’t think we’ll see the most productive from Hatate until next season. You can work out and run on the training track all you want, but there’s nothing better than playing football and betting 90 minutes of play. “I think it will be a slow procedure for him and he will know it himself.
“You have to be very careful. He’s definitely a quality operator, but I don’t think he’ll be at his productive prime until next season. “
