Report: Big 12 plans football in the fall despite Big Ten and Pac-12 postponements

According to Pete Thamel of Yahoo Sports, the big 12 will move on with their school football program in the fall.

It is unclear whether the convention would cancel the fall season and look to move it in the spring, as Big Ten and Pac-12 did.

Thamel noted that the presidents of the big 12 made an appeal on Tuesday and so much, and the league will unveil a calendar in the near future.

Drew Davison of Star-Telegram added to the report, noting that “the Big 12 board has entered the session, but the feeling is that the league will continue one season.”

The big questions for school football now revolve around the SEC and the CCA. Dan Patrick reported on his radio screen Monday that the SEC pressed for an fall season while the CCA on the fence.
