Anthony Lynn said after Sunday’s 45-0 loss to the Patriots that he hoped to see the Chargers coach today. In fact, it still is.
I mean, how much longer does Lynn still have her job?
NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reports that “the coaching of cargo chiefs is not imminent. “
“The organization has tremendous respect for Anthony Lynn, has and would rather compare everything at the end of the year,” adds Rapoport.
During week 12, Lynn’s clock control was questioned. Against the Patriots, it’s his team’s disastrous special groups that play under the microscope.
From 12-4 in 2018, the chargers are 8-20. It is in its fourth season with the Chargers and is 29-31 marked.
The Chargers will stay with Lynn and fire him next year, then rent a reasonable trainer, the prestige quo.
