Philadelphia to interview Cowboys special group coordinator John Fassel according to a report through Marcus Hayes of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Fassel spent eight seasons as coordinator of the Rams’ special team with Jeff Fisher and Sean McVay before moving to Dallas with Mike McCarthy in 2020, the Los Angeles interim head coach for the last three games of 2016, with the Rams 0-3. He has long been regarded as one of the league’s most productive special team coordinators, providing forgeries, returns and artistic blockages.
Fassel, 47, is the son of former Giants head coach Jim Fassel.
