Report: Federico Cherubini to leave Juventus and sign for Serie A hopefuls

Juventus coach Federico Cherubini will reportedly head out and join Parma when his ban expires.

The 53-year-old joined the club in 2012, first racing in the academy. It was one of the main pillars of the Next Gen project.

Following the departure of Giuseppe Marotta in 2018, Fabio Paratici became the club’s sporting director, while Cherubini rose to the rank of right-hand man.

After Paratici’s departure in 2021, Cherubini succeeded him as director, but this position proved short-lived due to investigations by Prisma and Plusvalenza.

Although he was not the main protagonist at the time, he received a lengthy suspension for his role in the two debatable cases.

But despite not being eligible for the position of sporting director, Juventus kept his services, appointing him head of staff.

However, Cherubini intends to play a bigger role when his ban expires in about two months.

But with Cristiano Giuntoli now sporting director and Giovanni Manna as his right-hand man, the Foligno home side would possibly have to leave Continassa to achieve their goals.

According to Tuttosport via JuventusNews24, Cherubini could sign for Parma before next season.

If the Crociati manage to secure promotion to Serie A, they may target the Juventus coach as their next general manager.

The Emilians are at the top of the Serie B table lately and seem destined to return to the top.
