The American was the only summer signing to join Max Allegri’s first team last summer. He came in as a replacement for Juan Cuadrado, who left the club before signing for Inter on a flexible transfer.
The 23-year-old was first in the starting eleven but then lost his place to compatriot Weston McKennie. Today, Andrea Cambiaso occupies the right flank in Allegri’s 3-5-2 system.
For his part, Weah has made seven starts in Serie A, providing one assist.
