Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie could leave the club this summer, especially if an offer comes in from the Premier League.
The 25-year-old joined the Bianconeri in the summer of 2020 after catching the eye of former club director Fabio Paratici.
However, his first 3 years in Turin were too disappointing.
The American spent the second half of last season at Leeds United, but his permanent move to Elland Road fell through following the club’s relegation to the English league.
However, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise for Juventus, as McKennie became a mainstay of the club.
The Texan has been one of the club’s most consistent players this season and has already contributed assists between Serie A and Coppa Italia.
However, the midfielder’s long career at the club remains a mystery, with his contract expiring in June 2025.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport IlBianconero, McKennie could leave Juventus this summer.
After all, this would possibly be the last chance the club would have to waste him for free.
In addition, the source notes that the player could be tempted to return to the Premier League.
The pink newspaper believes that the USMNT star still has plenty of suitors in England, especially after his performances this season.
For their part, Juventus have tried to renew the player’s contract to gain more influence, but so far their attempts have been in vain.
