Report: Nate McMillan and Pacers agree new contract for 2020 NBA playoffs

The Indiana Pacers and head coach Nate McMillan would have agreed to a contract extension in days, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

McMillan, who had one more year in his pact, has the Pacers in fifth place in the Eastern Conference at 43-28.

The Pacers are one of the most impressive groups in the NBA bubble since the 2019–20 season resumed in Orlando, Florida, after a break of nearly five months due to the coronavirus pandemic.

McMillan took Indiana to a 4-2 mark in the bubble, with two regular-seasons to play.
