Report: Star filed a really hefty payout after donations from West Ham, Fulham, Southampton; can be compromised soon

Sporting is in the process of renewing the single-player contract for which West Ham United, Fulham and Southampton have allegedly filed concessions in the summer play window, according to reports from Portuguese media.

A Bola reported in September that West Ham, Fulham and an unidentified England team had made unsuccessful concessions over the Jovane Cabral winger.

And Record said last month that negotiations “going on” between Southampton and Sporting over Jovane’s transfer.

However, such a movement did not materialize, with Southampton turning to Theo Walcott, while West Ham and Fulham incorporated Said Benrahma and Ademola Lookman respectively.

As such, Sporting has opened talks about Jovane’s extension and agreement.

And the Portuguese giants have “intensified contacts” with player representatives, with the aim of concluding the talks until the end of the month, according to O Jogo.

The online page adds that negotiations “have evolved a lot in recent hours” and are still ongoing, with the end date in early December being the worst-case scenario.

Sporting is alleged to extend Jovane’s stay at José Alvalade Stadium for two more years, to extend its termination clause from 60 million euros (approximately 53. 7 million pounds) to one hundred million euros (about 89. 5 million pounds) and to give it a ‘wage accumulation’.

Record reports, however, that it is Jovane who is pushing for a two-year extension, until June 2025.

He added that Sporting was in no hurry to reach an agreement, prioritizing a new contract for Nuno Mendes, who has been linked to several rivals West Ham, Fulham and Southampton in the Premier League.

The renewal of Jovane’s agreement ensures that West Ham, Fulham or Southampton will revive their interest in long-term moving windows.

The 22-year-old has scored or assisted 3 in six league games for the team led by Ruben Amorim this season.
