Japanese winger Ritsu Doan is ready to make a loan from PSV Eindhoven in the Dutch Premier League to the Bundesliga Arminia Bielefeld, Dutch media reported on Thursday.
Doan attended a PSV match the same day for the move-in negotiations, according to the club.
Winner of the German moment department last season, Bielefeld returns to the elite after an 11-year absence.
Doan joined the Dutch PSV last year on a five-year contract with his Eredivisie teammate, Groningen, for whom he was a mainstay after arriving from Gamba Osaka in 2017.
The 22-year-old scored two in 19 league games with PSV last season.
Doan has 18 international matches and three goals with Japan since making his debut abroad as a new generation brought through Samurai Blue coach Hajime Moriyasu after the 2018 World Cup.
