Real Madrid will make a January movement for the star of the Franco Mastantuono River.
Los Blancos have been tracking the 17-year-old for over 12 months, with Marca in 2024 reporting that he was open to a move to Madrid, while they had agreed terms.
However, despite the existing link, Mastanuono is under contract until 2026 and the club would prefer a schedule behind.
Mastantuono may not turn 18 until August and a summer move would be less difficult for everyone involved and reports from Diario AS imply that’s the plan.
In addition, Real Madrid make an offer in January for the Argentine under-17 international, River Plate will fulfill their full release clause of 40 million euros with the possibility of reaching 45 million euros.
Club sources have indicated that conversations are already in a position to finish a transfer, but there is no need to move in early 2025.
