Speaking after the match, Ange Postecoglou told BBC Sport: “It’s a disappointing result for us.
“I think we were wonderful in the first half and controlled the game.
“We really dominated with our football, but we just wasted the goal and the same thing in the moment, and when that happens, you keep the opponent in the game.
“We created chances and we weren’t ruthless enough at other times, missing certain things. These are things we want to fix. When you’re that dominant, you want to make sure that’s reflected on the scoreboard.

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou told Sky: “Disappointing night for us. Excellent first half and game but a waste in front of goal.
“The timing was the same. We started well and once Leicester scored, the crowd rose to its feet and we lost our composure.
“It’s a challenge we also had last year, we want to keep running hard and be a little more ruthless in front of goal.
“Sometimes we make bad decisions. When we are so dominant, they don’t see us. We play to score goals and we don’t score. Dominance is wonderful, but if you don’t score, it doesn’t make any sense.
“It’s disappointing to waste so much tonight. We just haven’t been clinical. “
“It’s not our football or our efforts. To get results, we have to be much more ruthless in the final third. If we don’t do that, we may not get the rewards our football deserves. “
