Ronald Koeman alludes to Ansu Fati’s key in 2020-2021

Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman is that Ansu Fati can play a key role in the first team this season, but has called for calm in the face of the development of the 17-year-old.

Spain picked up where it had left off in 2019-20 in the first Blaugrana game of the 2020-21 campaign, with two goals in a 4-0 win over Villarreal.

Koeman asked about the young star in his post-match interview, and the former dutch national team leader said the young man is in a position to play a normal role in the coming months.

“Ansu is a young player, and we’re looking for consistency in his performances,” according to an AS Diary report.

“It has a long brilliant career and I am satisfied with its functionality in front of the Villarreal. “

“His progress has been enormous and we have benefited from it. It continues to prove its value and we are confident that it will continue to grow.

After Luis Suarez left for Atletico Madrid last week, Fati’s first-team opportunities strengthened, with Koeman in a position to take an excursion between him and Ousmane Dembélé alongside Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann.

Koeman’s appearance will now face two League matches before the October foreign stop with a weekday match against Celta de Vigo and a home match against Sevilla.
