Ross County Director John Hughes hopes to make some additions to the January move-in window.
The Staggies at the foot of the Scottish Premiership table after 12 games without a win.
They travel to face Hibernian on Easter Road tomorrow night and Hughes is already looking for new recruits imaginable when the moving market opens.
But former Caley Thistle’s chief says the existing team in Victoria Park will have every single chance of impressing.
He said: “In soccer, even if you fly, you don’t rest on your laurels. You hear coaches say that the most productive time to onboard players is when you fly high.
“Everything suits us and I don’t want to, they realize.
“I tell you that you are doing everything you like, so you have to approve and explain yourself, not let the position in which we place you depress them.
“Leave the position we’re inspiring you and do anything about it. In football, matches are thick and fast, so when they enter this stage, they have to be the player on the field.
“That’s what I tell you, I accept as true with and I accept them.
“They want to take the next step now.
“In terms of bringing in the players, I had an assembly to decide what you want to do and see if we can bring one or two players to help the group.
“Maybe after Wednesday we’ll have some, but we’ll be like all the other teams.
“If we can see one or two players, we think it’s going to be the team, I’d like to think we can do that. “
Hughes agrees to have paintings cut off against Jack Ross’ Hibernian, who suffered his first defeat in 10 games after being defeated 1-0 through rangers on Boxing Day.
He said: “In football, if you have the boost and play with confidence, and you have the same eleven, you will succeed.
“That’s all the credit for Hibs, I’ve been there when you fly and in the area.
“But what a challenge for us and you will have to motivate us.
“As an individual, you object to that and say ‘bring it’ and show them what you have.
“That’s what I tell the players to make sure they don’t feel inferior to anyone. I wouldn’t have that in my club.
“Come on, we know how they are, but we care.
“Even if there’s a little bit of fear in that, you have to turn it into a little combat and that’s what I’ll be for.
“To be honest, that’s what I’ve beaten them in the last two games. We played celtic and there were nine men against St Mirren.
“I saw the first 30 minutes on Saturday and if we can do it for 90 minutes, the Hibs will know they’ll be in a game. I ask you to take small steps to improve. “
The Staggies will go to Edinburgh without midfielder Ross Draper and left-back Josh Reid, both sent off in Saturday’s 2-0 loss to St Mirren.
Reid’s assistant is most likely in a difficult corner in front of the Hibernian-shaped Martin Boyle end.
Hughes added: “Martin Boyle is a gambler and is a talisman for Hibs. I can communicate about him all day, but with Josh Reid, he gives someone else a chance.
“Wee Josh, I felt it for him on Saturday.
“Having had a comfortable reserve for the former, you can’t be as impetuous as he is. They’ve put their hands on him and we have to inform him, but he opens the door for the rest.
