SALT LAKE CITY – Utah continues to adjust schedules as COVID-19 instances increase.
On Monday, the Roy High School football team said the 81 players were now in mandatory quarantine and that the best schools in Brighton and Alta announced that students would move on to a schedule divided by transitority.
Murray High School and the Piute County School District announced Sunday night that students would be transferred to the Internet starting Monday for the next two weeks.
They arrived here after Murray High School, Piute County District Schools, High School and Brighton High School reached the 15-case threshold for COVID-19.
Piute County School District Moves to Online Learning
“More than 60 piute high school students were absent Friday (October 2) for quarantine, isolation, and other illnesses,” a district read. “The school has struggled to find enough replacements to fill all teachers and staff who have been quarantined or implemented for low health. “
Some Piute equipment and usage classes can still be provided in the user in school buildings. More express commands will be provided for virtual learning through the individual school in the district.
Piute’s baseball practices and games will continue in accordance with COVID-19 guidelines from the Utah High School Athletic Association. Volleyball practices will resume on October 12.
Piute schools plan to return on Wednesday, October 21.
Murray High School moves on to online learning
Despite the shift to online learning, Murray High School students will continue to stick to their normal A/B schedule for Zoom meetings with the ters in class. Ters will communicate with students with more data and equipment over the next two weeks.
“This online program is NOT meant to be two weeks away from school. Instead, it’s two weeks of online training that will allow our school/community to restart and allow all students inflamed with the virus to recover,” Murray High School said in a statement.
All extracurricular activities at Murray High School will continue. Viewers for scheduled competitions will be limited to parents only. Groups with 3 or more cases shown of COVID-19 will remain quarantined, according to a statement.
Murray High School plans to take categories in person on Monday, October 19.
Roy High School quarantined
On Monday, school officials announced that the entire Roy High School football team had been quarantined pre-emptively for 14 days due to the increased number of COVID-19s.
A total of 81 players and thirteen coaches are affected by quarantine.
The school reported Monday through Weber-Morgan’s Department of Health that a third team-related user had tested positive in two weeks.
To prevent further spread of the virus, it is through government that every time 3 or more people in the same school environment test positive to quarantine all elegance or, in this case, the team.
Due to the team’s quarantine, a football match between Roy High School and Weber High School, originally scheduled for Friday, was canceled and officials did not know if it would be postponed.
Brighton’s best schools, Alberta adopt a schedule divided by transitority
Brighton and Alta High Schools in the Canyons School District are adopting a transitional schedule that will take place Wednesday.
Under the new split schedule, students can return to campus for courses “while reducing the number of students on campus at any time,” school officials said. “This schedule was expected to eventually decrease the number of quarantined students after imaginable exposure to COVID-19, help at a greater physical distance and complement efforts to locate existing contacts. “

Monday, October 12 – For academics whose surname begins with the letters A-K Tuesday, October 13 – For academics whose surname L-Z Wednesday, October 14 – For academics whose surname A-K
Classes will not be held on Thursday and Friday, October 15-16, during the fall holidays. Next week, the rotation scheme for AK fellows one day, and then LZ fellows attending the next, will continue until Thursday, October 22. students and parents, a shared schedule will be posted on the school’s website.
