On December 24, Russian troops attacked the frontline settlements of Ocheretyne and New York (Donetsk Oblast), wounding three civilians.

Quote: “Today, December 24, 2023, the Russian army attacked the military infrastructure of the villages. According to initial data, the invaders used guided bombs against civilians.
During an airstrike on a residential area of the city of Ocheretyne, Pokrovsk district, a 62-year-old man driving a car on one of the streets was wounded in the hip and injured by a mine explosion.
Two other civilians were wounded as a result of the enemy attack on the cities of New York and Toretsk. The victims are a 68-year-old man and his 64-year-old wife, who were in front of their premises when a shell landed near them. The couple was able to touch neighbors, who called an ambulance to the scene. Those affected were injured by shrapnel. “
Details: The prosecutor added that the explosions also ruptured and destroyed residential buildings, fences and outbuildings.
