We asked Rutgers Wire editor Kristian Dyer some serious questions about the Rutgers-USC football forward who will be a nationally televised show on Oct. 25. We also asked him a few fewer questions.

Trojans Wire: Are you willing to stay until 3 or 4 a. m. in New Jersey to cover this game?

KD: For a mythical Big Ten rivalry like this, I’d stay up until 4:30 a. m.

Trojans Wire: What will be your go-to food and drink at the end of the night as USC and Rutgers play until midnight for East Coast audiences?

KD: Probably pizza from Jersey. Dave Portnoy did a review of Casa D’Pizza in Denville, which is my favorite place. I was disappointed with the score. Based on other local scores, for me it was either 8. 1 or 8. 2. It would possibly be mandatory to download a new score.

I’ll treat myself to some slices, a little crunchy. Have guacamole and chips as a soft snack. SodaStream ginger ale to give me sugar but no caffeine. This is my first rodeo.
