Ryanair has said it has cancelled all its flights from Liverpool to Ibiza for the 2022 summer season.
The cheap airline said that due to the shortage of slots at Ibiza airport, its route from Liverpool to the Spanish island of the party will not be planned for the summer of 2022.
Instead, tourists and partygoers will have to fly in from Manchester Airport if they want to get to Ibiza.
A Ryanair spokesperson told ECHO: “Due to the shortage of slots at Ibiza airport, this Liverpool to Ibiza address will not work for the summer of 2022.

“UK consumers can fly to this popular sunny destination from the vicinity of Manchester Airport, where Ryanair will offer daily departures during the peak summer months. “
One customer, who contacted ECHO, said he and several friends learned of the update after their booked flights from Liverpool to Ibiza were cancelled in May.
He said: “We have all won an email informing us that our flights have been cancelled and that we would like to rebook or get a refund, however when you look online, there are no other flights from Liverpool to Ibiza this year. “
“Now we can fly from Manchester Airport.
“Before they had flights on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between Liverpool and Ibiza, they all left. “
He added: “It’s frustrating for us, many of us flew at other times and everything was organized. We had a plan in place and now it’s gone bankrupt. “
Ryanair said more details about its flights can be found on Ryanair. com.
