Saint-Etienne has gone through Arsenal after not being able to bring William Saliba back on loan this summer as the war of words between the two sides continues.
The 19-year-old central zaguero is strongly linked to a transfer to the French club after betting there last season as part of a compromise agreement.
But a replacement didn’t materialize before the merchandise closed on Monday night. Saint-Etienne is not satisfied with the Gunners for allowing Saliba’s loan plan to fail despite an agreement reached long before the market closes.
