SALZBURG, Austria: Salzburg let Lokomotiv Moscow slip away with a 2-2 draw at home through Russia in the Champions League on Wednesday.

The Austrian champions led 2–1 and were absolutely ready to be overtaken by a draw from replacement Vitali Lisakovich, who scored six minutes after his Champions League debut in the Group A match.

Portuguese striker Eder, who scored the winning goal in the Euro 2016 final against France, gave Lokomotiv the lead in the 19th minute with a headbutt to the corner after Rifat Zhemaletdinov pitched in a corner on the first post.

The hosts turned the game around with two goals from the half aspect. Dominik Szoboszlai tied in the 45th minute and veteran Zlatko Junuzovic scored with a deflected shot after Patson Dako returned the ball seven minutes after the resumption.

Sekou Koita hit the pole for Salzburg, but got stuck after wasting the property on the edge of his own and Lisakovich tied with a headbutt in the 75th minute that bounced between goalkeeper Cican Stankovic and his first pole.
