Manchester United are on the verge of closing a deal to sign much-loved winger Samuel Lusale, 16, from Crystal Palace.

The Slovakian teenager will enroll in United’s academy as the club looks to bolster its ranks of youngsters with the most sensible talent.

Lusale has been a standout player at youth level, representing Slovakia at the European Under-17 Championship in May and being part of Crystal Palace’s FA Youth Cup squad last season.

He joined Palace at the age of thirteen and is represented through Roc Nation, the skill firm founded by rapper Jay-Z.

On the Roc Nation website, Lusale describes himself as “a fast and dynamic winger who is one of the UK’s most exciting attacking players at the Under-16 level.

Comfortable on the left wing or on the wing, his electrifying speed and direct run with the ball make him a constant risk for the opposing defense.

He is guilty of goals and assists for his team.

The addition of Lusale is part of a wider strategy through United to bolster its academy with promising young players.
