Samuel Umtiti, Barcelona’s 2th defense to positive for Covid-19

The Spanish giants of Barcelona demonstrated tonight that Samuel Umtiti had returned a positive for Covid-19.

Barca de Quique Setien is, of course, lately in the club’s biggest exit of the season.

After seeing Napoli in the 16th Champions League circular last week, the Blaugrana now face an even greater challenge, in the form of the Bundesliga champions, Bayern Munich.

The Bavarians have been brilliantly in shape on their European crusade at this stage, with a 7-1 overall goal over Chelsea in the last circular of the festival, having seen many Flick men as favourites to win the title.

As such, Barcelona will have to be more productive if it is hopeful that tonight’s departure will not be the last of the 2019/20 campaign.

(Find out how to see the surprise here).

However, as mentioned above, as the rest of the Blaugrana team prepares for action, one of the club’s stars won a disturbing news story tonight.

The individual in is Samuel Umtiti.

In a message recently posted on the club’s social media platforms, Barca showed that his French defender had tried Covid-19.

Umtiti, fortunately, is asymptomatic in the state of affairs and has gone into self-isolation at home.

Your positive check will also have no effect on tonight’s Champions League quarter-finals, as the former Lyon players are lately offside by injury and member of the Blue Team.

“After Thursday’s PCR tests, first-team player Samuel Umtiti took the Covid-19 test. Players are asymptomatic, healthy and isolated at home.”

“The club has informed the applicable sports and fitness management and has been in favor of anyone who has had contact with the player so that they can go through the corresponding PCR tests.”
