Sarri, Juventus coach, fired – Reports

Serie A champion Juventus have sacked coach Maurizio Sarri after one season after leaving the Champions League on Friday night, Italian media reported.

Corriere dello Sport and Sky, 61, had been fired.

“Maurizio Sarri has been fired, it’s still official,” the Gazzetta dello Sport wrote on his website.

Juventus won Serie A for the ninth consecutive season last month, but was eliminated from the Champions League in Friday’s last 16 games, wasting goals despite a 2–1 win over Olympique Lyonnais in the second leg.
