Police have asked residents along the Saugeen River or Lake Huron to contact them at 519-832-2500 if they find anything that might help them with their investigation.
Police, the guy was in the river at the same time that a wave of water and ice swept others into the river. They managed to escape the cold, rainy river and were taken to the hospital as a precaution.
Police advised the public to stay away from the river due to dangerous and unpredictable water conditions.
