SEC announces more party procedures

The Southeast Conference has announced a series of gaming in operation for its 14 member schools, following its initial medical protocols and fans announced earlier this month, as the convention continues to monitor advances around the COVID-19 virus.

“The fitness of those surrounding SEC sporting events remains a fear and, following the recommendation of the SEC’s Business Back Working Group and medical recommendation, we continue to expand policies to provide a return to competition,” SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey said. “Some of these decisions are complicated but they are a truth of our circumstances, and we will continue to expand and refine policies as we follow COVID-19-related disorders.”

ESSENTIAL STAFF IN THE FIELD

The essential staff will have to be the only other people who have access to the day in shape to the play area and sideline, adding students-athletes, coaches and staff, fitness officers, medical staff, limited institutional staff, law enforcement, a limited number of photographers. and a radio/television staff and other limited staff are essential for the functionality of the game.

All persons with access to the team’s bank domain must participate in the SEC COVID-19 verification protocol.

Ticket sales

In football, where the capacity of the stadium is reduced if the presence of fans is allowed, the host establishment will provide the visiting establishment with a minimum of 500 tickets at the stadium’s relegation point. The visiting establishment would probably get about 500 tickets of common agreement between the two establishments.

ON-THE-GROUND PERFORMANCE

Groups will not be able to perform in the box before matches and at halftime. The policy will be revised for the year based on progress around COVID-19.

When the capacity of the stadium is reduced if the presence of enthusiasts is allowed, visiting music bands and non-secular organizations are prohibited from attending matches in SEC stadiums; SEC establishments will have the discretion of whether their organization and/or non-secular team attends a convention game in a neutral location (SEC vs. SEC).

Presentations, on-the-field presentations and popularity are prohibited, including, but limited to, the popularity of sponsors and donors and the popularity of student-athletes and sports teams.

Disinfection

The original institutions are required to disinfect space spaces and visiting groups before each set of approved disinfectants. These spaces will have to have changing rooms, training rooms, education rooms, side areas, training booths and any additional space provided to any of the teams. The visiting team may disinfect their spaces with approved disinfectants after receiving approval from the local team facility staff for disinfectants they wish to use. Once disinfection is complete, the spaces and appliances must be locked until the groups have initial access on Thursday or Friday before game day. Once any of the groups have accessed their spaces, only the body of the team of workers can enter the spaces and not the outdoor staff, adding television staff, can do so.

MEDIA OPERATIONS

The capacity of the press room shall not exceed 50% of the availability of existing seats in the press room, and all persons provided in the press room must wear a mask. If national, regional and/or local regulations so require, the capacity of the press room shall be less than 50% of the existing area in accordance with national, regional and/or local regulations.
