Preparation for a typical SEC football season might seem endless, but this preseason has been longer than ever.
Finally, after all those uncertainties and doubts, the season is almost here. You’ll probably get the start of SEC football this Saturday with a mix of anticipation and relief. At least, despite all the horrible predictions, this happens.
A 10-game SEC program, reserved for conferencing, will be loaded into the frame. I look forward to a series of SEC games every Saturday. Almost every game will have its own story.
Matches will be harder to predict. The uncertainty of the pandemic will be this.
Players will be quarantined. Teams will work at a numerical disadvantage, some games may be postponed or even canceled.
But thank the SEC for watching and wait for your efforts to bring you a season.
