The Southeastern Conference, considered the main convention of school football, will play a 10-game schedule and cancel all games that oppose unconventional parties to conflict for the 2020 season, according to various media reports.
The SEC joins other elementary school conferences, such as Big Ten and Pac-12, that have already announced plans to play at the conference.

Student-athletes of all sports who do not play in the fall of 2020 will “continue to receive their scholarships,” according to the SEC, and “will remain in a smart state with their team.”
The resolution to replace the football schedule was based on “the desire for maximum flexibility to make mandatory calendar adjustments” in reaction to the coronavirus pandemic, the SEC said.
“After careful attention to public fitness signs in our region and following the recommendation of our medical advisors, we decided that this was the most productive course of action to prepare for a return-to-safety and fitness festival for SEC students. athletes, coaches and others related to our sports programs,” SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey said in a statement.
