Sergio Concicao has been appointed new chief coach of AC Milan.
The Athletic reported Milan were set to appoint Conceicao as Paulo Fonseca’s replacement, after he was sacked following his side’s draw with Roma
Fonseca, 51, left Milan after six months in rate with the eighth club in series A.
Concicao, 50, has failed since leaving Porto in June, nine days after winning the Portuguese Cup and is now moving to San Siro on a contract until 2026.
During his seven seasons in Porto fare, Condoica won 3 league titles, 4 Portuguese cups, one Portuguese league cup and 3 Portuguese super cuts.
The Concica Management race included remains in Olhanense, Academica, Braga and Vitoria Guimaraes, and six months at the French Club Nantes rate before moving to Porto.

Across a 17-year playing career, he won league titles at Porto — three times — as well as at Lazio under Sven-Goran Eriksson. He also won the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup and UEFA Super Cup during his time in Italy.
Milan belongs to the American investment organization Redbird Capital, who bought the Elliott Advisors club in August 2022 in an agreement that appreciated them at 1. 2 billion euros. Redbird also has a participation in Fenway Sports Group, from the Boston Red Sox and Liverpool.

The striker Usmnt Christian Pulisic is the most sensible scorer of the team in series A with five goals, but has been set aside through calves and ankles problems.
Milan return to action against Juventus on January 3, the club Conceicao’s son Francisco represents. The 22-year-old winger was previously managed by his father at Porto.
