DE JONG REACTS
Speaking after the match, Sevilla striker Luke De Jong said:
“It’s amazing.
“We had some difficult matches in the tournament, but we played very well as a team, and you can see that during the tournament we were actually a team, like a family.
“We worked in combination and no matter who played, who came to the field, they all ran for each other and that you can see in that last game.
‘It was hard, we started well I think, but with nothing, they scored the goal for the penalty, but then I scored two heads, so it’s a feeling for me and fortunately in the end we were able to win the match.
DIFFICULT TO TAKE
A sour pill to swallow for Antonio Conte et co.
Especially since Carlos’ effort didn’t seem to happen before Lukaku’s contact.
