Rangers welcome an “exciting player” in Fabio Silva, according to Aaron Barton, editor-in-chief of Portuguese football Proxima Jornada.
“He’s a player who plays when he’s given confidence, which I think it’s fair to say he hasn’t had much in recent years,” he said on the Scottish Football Podcast.
“They’re signing an exciting player, they’re signing a player who’s looking to get his career back on track.
“Last season was a big improvement, a huge improvement. [His time at PSV] was a really important period in his career”.
“He played on the left, almost as a left winger. I think if you look at his touch map when he was in Holland, he had to run a lot more down the flanks, cut internally with the ball and bring other players onto the pitch. play, while also looking to get into the box to score goals.
“So, in terms of progression, it will have been anything that’s some other kind of thread to carry on his bow. But he needs to start playing again. He needs to start playing again. He needs to start playing again. Start playing again with a fan base, something you’ll really like.
“I just think it’s time to start over and if he makes his debut with the Rangers, then it’s going to be everything for him. “
