Oliver Skipp has written a message to Spurs fans after his departure from the club.
Skippy, a fan from his formative years who lived the dream of each and every Spurs fan, spent 18 years with us before moving to Leicester City on Monday.
The midfielder, who joined us when he was five years old before rising through the ranks and joining our first team, played over a hundred games for us and scored one goal – a very special goal against Chelsea at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in February 2023.
Now, saying an emotional farewell, Skippy left a message for Spurs fans on his official Instagram channel, expressing his gratitude to everyone associated with the club for their love and love over the years.
“After 18 years at my childhood club, it’s time to say goodbye,” Skippy said.
“It has been an adventure that began when I was five years old in 2006 until today in 2024. So many special memories that I will never forget. To have played more than a hundred times for the Club is a great honour and a privilege.
“Finally, thank you very much to all the fans, players and the president for everything you have done for me.
“I’ll come as a fan one day! COYS ? “
