AC Milan have been rumored to be one of the candidates to sign SM Caen star Tidiam Gomis, among others across Europe.
As Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reported, RB Leipzig are pushing to sign “top talent” Tidiam Gomis from Caen in France, and are in a “strong position” to do so at the moment.
However, Milan and Aston Villa are also in the race and ‘nothing has been signed yet’, so it remains to be seen if there is an acceleration from either the Rossoneri or the Premier League club given Leipzig’s advances.
It is being discussed whether a signing will take place in the winter market or whether it will be an undeniable signing for Bosman at the end of the season, when his contract with SM Caen expires.
It is unclear at the moment whether Milan would sign the teenager for their Futuro team or whether he already deserves a place in the first team.
Gomis has two goals and two assists in Ligue 2 this season, while his overall record with the first team is 4 goals and two assists in 36 games. He scored 11 goals in 34 with his U19 team.
