The victory leaves Benfica in 71 tracks after 32 matches, five from the leader Porto. After beating Benfica twice this season, Porto will win their 29th league title if they achieve at least one draw with Sporting on Wednesday.
Visitors well with Marcus Edwards finishing an early shot under the crossbar and Bruno Duarte having a wonderful chance of crossing the line.
