Soccer-Lazio hits Silva after midfielder tipped the Society

Lazio’s sporting director Igli Tare said Tuesday that he had lost his respect for David Silva after the Spanish midfielder joined Real Sociedad in La Liga while the Italian club was in talks to point it out.

Italian media reported that Lazio had presented Silva with a three-year contract for 10 million euros ($11.94 million) and that the Serie A club was sure to sign the 34-year-old on the loose agent after leaving Manchester City this month.

However, Silva opted to sign for the Company, signing on Monday a two-year contract to return to Spain, where he had played in the past with Valencia.

“I heard about David Silva’s move to the Royal Society. I have immense respect for the player, but not for the man,” Tare said in a http://www.sslazio.it/it/news/press-release-2/60698-note-del-direttore-sportivo-igli-tare.

Silva’s father, Fernando Jiménez, defended the midfielder, saying that Lazio had only spoken to his agent and that the former foreigner from Spain had committed to move to Italy.

“There have been conversations with Lazio, as there have been with Real Sociedad or other teams. Nothing has been realized,” he told Radio Marca.

David surprised by his reaction. People can say whatever they want, but Lazio has spoken to his agent and not to David.
