SALONIKA – Danish club Midtjylland qualified for the Level of Champions League organization for the first time on a surprising Wednesday after scoring 3 goals in the last seven minutes to beat over Slavia Prague 4-1 in their qualifying match.
They were joined by Russian Krasnodar, who beat PAOK Thessaloniki 2-1 on the return lap in Greece after beating them by the same score last week, while Salzburg controlled a 3–1 win over Maccabi Tel Aviv 5-2 overall. . Victory.
After a goalless start in Prague, Slavia took a dominant position to move on when Peter Olayinka gave them the lead in the 3rd minute with a left-hand volley, keeping his composure after misunderstood the initial effort.
Sory Kaba tied the afternoon with an effort in the 64th minute, to establish an astonishing climax in which he had a penalty in the 80th minute kept through Ondrej Kolar before referee Damir Skomina ordered him removed from the goalkeeper’s intrusion.
