The latest Premier League gameweek will draw to a close on Monday, as Manchester United welcome Southampton to Old Trafford.
Both sides head into the tie in impressive form.
United are unbeaten in 17 outings across all competitions, whilst Southampton have lost just one of their last five, and recently earned a huge victory over Manchester City.
However, unlike Man United, the Saints, who currently sit 12th in the Premier League table, have little left to play for this season.

Despite their superb form of late, Manchester United actually still sit outside the top-four.
Granted, 5th place could become a Champions League spot if Man City’s European ban is upheld. However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and co. probably don’t want to rely on such an outcome to ensure that they earn a spot in Europe’s premiere club competition next season.
As such, with Chelsea and Leicester currently above the Red Devils in the Premier League table, there is still a chance that United will fail to earn Champions League qualification.
However, should the Manchester powerhouse indeed miss out on CL football, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer doesn’t seem too concerned.
When asked if Champions League qualification will have a dramatic effect in the short-term at Old Trafford, Solskjaer stated:
“I don’t think it’s like dramatic decisions, the word you said there.
“I don’t think the club would either panic or suddenly go crazy with plans that we’ve already talked about for the years to come.
“You have to have a long-term plan but of course short-term maybe some decisions will be easier to make if or if not you get the Champions League.”
