Southampton is blocked in line with the FA for its racial diversity.
The Saints are angry that they are the only Premier League club that doesn’t adhere to the FA’s new voluntary diversity code, that is, because they’ve been working for five years to improve performance in the scenes.
The code, which aims to address racial imbalance in the English game, will call clubs and organizations diversity targets for training positions as well as checkpoints.
It is understood that the Saints are upset to receive an email and phone call from the FA in the last 10 days, ingesting them to request a code they had been running for several months.
Southampton pretends to be comfortable with his commitment to doing something really extensive rather than taking what is noticeable as a cosmetic gesture of his image.
He comes with England star And Aston Villa, Tyrone Mings, warning that Premier League and EFL clubs that do not sign up may see possible signs and sponsors wondering about their commitment. Mings (in action opposite Shane Long of the Saints, above) said: “That’s all we talked about creating the code.
Possibly it would be a challenge that these clubs will face in the future, those deceptive conversations around ‘Why didn’t you notice?’I don’t know what the reasons are right now. I don’t know if they couldn’t succeed in them or if they didn’t need to register, I don’t know.
“You have to think that just because they don’t need to develop the diversity of leadership positions or training roles doesn’t mean you’d like to think it’s a sinister thing.
“So it’s anything a player can think of. Why would you like to ask the question?” Array
“Players will come to mind if they see that a club has distanced the code by choosing not to register. “
One member of the club said: “In 2020, Southampton FC reached the popular Premier League equality complex on first request, the only club to have achieved it to date.
“This is the culmination of a five-year adventure in equality and diversity, including the definition and monitoring of recruitment objectives among a number of other E initiatives
“We fully meet the objectives of the code of diversity of leadership in football. We are aware that the Premier League is reviewing its popular equality to bring the two closer.
At this time, the club is contemplating its maximum appropriate course of action to wait and perceive how a new equality of the popular Premier League and the Football Leadership Diversity Code will be combined and complemented, before reviewing our hiring goals and our established processes. . “
