Southampton won a blank fitness test of his coronavirus tests after Stuart Armstrong’s positive result, but has reintroduced more precautionary measures to his education floor for the return of his players.
Southampton players and staff underwent their normal weekly tests last week after it emerged while Armstrong was on a foreign project that had contracted Covid-19.
All the effects of the club were negative, Southampton took the decision to close its Staplewood base so that they can carry out a thorough clean-up of the site on Thursday.
