Can Southampton start their season?

Last weekend, Danny Ings’ purpose in the fifth minute gave the Saints a 1-0 win at Turf Moor against Burnley.

It was a major victory as Ralph Hasenh-ttl’s team had lost their first two games, 5-2 to the Spurs and 1-0 at Crystal Palace.

They were eliminated from the Carabao Cup via Brentford.

This is unexpected given that they lost only one of their nine games in the reboot era at the end of last season.

Can the Saints win consecutively?

As for West Bromwich Albion, they are still looking for their first win since they returned to the most sensible on the ladder, but that deserves to have happened last weekend.

The Baggies took a 3-0 lead in the first half at home against Chelsea last Saturday.

Callum Robinson scored a double Kyle Bartley scored a corner.

However, they can hold on and visitors left the Hawthorns with a 3-3 draw, matching in the fourth minute of extra time.

It’s a very bitter tablet for Slaven Bilio to swallow, especially since they lost their first two matches 3-0 to Leicester and 5-2 at Everton.

In addition, like their hosts, West Brom had a week without games after they were eliminated from the League Cup via Brentford in a past round.

Will West Bromwich Albion get a surprise win?

Ralph Hasenh-ttl’s XI is largely settled and, having won his last match eight days ago, he will most likely stand firm.

Alex McCarthy remains the number one goalkeeper even though Fraser Forster, who is now back at the club, excelled for Celtic last season.

In the back, Kyle Walker-Peters and Ryan Bertrand are the most sensible selections in the back.

Hasenh-ttl still has to do in the middle.

Jannik Vestergaard arrived with Jan Bednarek at Burnley to upload a little more physical presence.

He may hold his position in the Jack Stephens position.

Mohammed Salisu, who joined Real Valladolid for a million pounds this summer, is still waiting for his league debut.

In the midfield, they are a bit peaceful after pierre-Emile H’jbjerg’s departure to Tottenham and without coming to this area.

Oriol Romeu and James Ward-Prowse, the club’s new captain, are the same usual 4-2-2-2 pair.

Later, Nathan Redmond is injured and Moussa Djenepo can maintain his position alongside Stuart Armstrong.

Will Smallbone, 20, and Nathan Tella, 21, are the other features of midfield with Sofiane Boufal in doubt.

In attack, Danny Ings scored his 28th target since last season’s start at Burnley.

Ché Adams is his own spouse in the crime, proceeding with Shane Long and Michael Obafemi excluded.

Southampton won six home games last season, but can they win the first of this season?

As for West Bromwich Albion, after a two-half-time game last weekend, it will be attractive to see what Slaven Bili is doing.

Goalkeeper Sam Johnstone aims to keep his first sheet blank in the Premier League.

In front of him, chances are he’ll be five again.

Kyle Edwards, Semi Ajayi and Dara O’Shea will be downtown with Darnell Furlong on the right.

Conor Towsend is going to reposition the left side in position of suspended Kieran Gibbs.

Cedric Kipré will be on the bench; Branislav Ivanovic is awaiting his baggies debut after signing for Zenit St Petersburg last month.

In midfield, Jake Livermore and Romaine Sawyers are the first-choice duo.

He is the fifth player from St Kitts and Nevis to play in the Premier League and the first since 2001.

Sam Field and Rekeem Harper are the midfield options.

Offshore, Matheus Pereira and Grady Diangana will also remain in their seats.

The Baggies have some clever features in this domain with Kamil Grosicki, Matt Phillips and Kyle Edwards, all probably on the bench.

Like Filip Krovinovio, he returned to the club during a consecutive season on loan from Benfica.

Callum Robinson’s double last weekend saw him lead the forward line of Hal Robson-Kanu and former Saint Charlie Austin.
