Tottenham has begun moving negotiations for his Robin Quaison target, according to reports.

The Swedish player and Mainz are wanted through the Spurs as one more option in the future.

According to Bild (via Mirror), the London club asked Mainz how much they would like to sign.

Quaison is an exciting striker who scored thirteen goals and helped two others in the final Bundesliga campaign.

His appearances have earned him many admirers, Spurs coach Jose Mourinho.

Quaison has scored seven goals in 15 games for his country so far. It is also valued at 9. 45 million pounds through Transfermarkt, Mainz will probably have to pay much higher fees.

The player can compete with Harry Kane, Lucas Moura and Heung Min Son on tottenham’s front line. Mourinho needs this movement window for his team to improve his sixth position in the Premier League.

Quaison would be the Spurs’ third summer signing if the two clubs agree on the rates. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg of Southampton and Giovani Lo Celso of The Royal Betis have already been signed.

These two signings have the club about 44 million pounds in total, so Mourinho still has a decent sum to spend.

However, the Spurs may be hampered by their inability to win the league of football champions for next season.

They played in the final of the Champions League last season, but are still rebuilding after firing Argentine coach Mauricio Pochettino.

They sold Kyle Walker-Peters to Southampton on the basis of the Hojbjerg deal and let defender Jan Vertonghen leave the club for a loose transfer.

The club has been linked to a resolution through former player Gareth Bale and Benfica defender Ruben Dias.

Tottenham is for a world-class central defense and Dias can have perfect compatibility in that mold. The 23-year-old is a technical and forged player who can have compatibility with the Prem.
