Scores and other offensive numbers continue for seven weeks of school football season, and the weekend has shown why.
Clemson scored 73 points as opposed to Georgia Tech, North Texas suspended 52 over Middle Tennessee, Memphis 50 in opposition to Central Florida, and the week began with Arkansas State beating Georgia State 59-52.
Seven groups have scored at least 63 problems in one game this season. Throughout the 2019 season, a team hit 63 problems 18 times. And remember, only 77 of the 130 FBS groups have played like this because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Big Ten conference and Mountain West open their season this week and the Pac-12 and Mid-American Conference begins in the first week of November.
The FBS average of 30. 3 tracks is more than a point above last season and ahead of the 30-problem record for the game in 2016. The 3. 89-touchdown average consistent with the team is ahead of the 3. 82 record in 2016.
The overall average 412-yard offensive is on track to be the highest time since the NCAA began keeping records in 1937, the 417-yard record consistent with the game in 2016.
Five have spent more than 700 yards in a game; North Texas has done it twice.
The combined 1501 yards between UCF (798) and Memphis (703), an American Athletic Conference record. Other offensive explosions Saturday saw North Texas amass a 768-yard program record against Middle Tennessee and Clemson going 671 against Georgia Tech.

TD PASS GALORE
The state of Arkansas has won an 8-pass landing pass against the state of Georgia, is that of the national season, and since Washington state released nine scores in a loss to UCLA in September 2019.
Arkansas State starter Logan Bonner pitched three touchdowns, Layne Hatcher for 4 and open receiver Roshauud Paul for one.
The Red Wolves have 14 TD passes and no interception in their two games.
